The Valamar Hotel & Resorts Company is the first in Croatia to introduce online booking for its camps – the Laternacamp in Poreč and the Turist in Vrsar. In the coming period, starting with 2007, the system is to be introduced for the Valamar Group’s seven other camps.

Online booking works on the principle of direct sales of chosen lots in the camp that can be chosen in advance via interactive maps of the camp on the company’s web site. Besides the classic online system lots can be reserved directly by calling the Valamar reservation centre.

A study has shown that over 50% of guests who have stayed at Valamar camps use the Internet to plan their holiday so that this online system should be well received by clients.

Valamar Hotels & Resorts manages a total of 40 tourist facilities along the entire Adriatic coast, more precisely 23 hotels, eight apartment resorts and nine camps.
