Hi everybody!
I'm thinking of traveling around Croatia fpr a month - I want to fly to Zagreb and plan to travel north to Varazdin, east to Osijek, a U-turn back to Rijeka, south via Plitvice, then on to Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik where I fly back from. Is public transport between cities good? I had thought about taking trains and buses? Or would it be better to hire a car instead perhaps? Thanks, gonia |

There is a very extensive bus newtwork in Croatia and the cheapest form of transport. From Zagreb, take a bus to Varazdin, quicker and cheaper, from Varazdin train to Koprivnica and another train to Osijek, from Osijek visit Vukovar (by bus) and bus or train to Zagreb, from Zagreb freq. buses to Plitvice, from there to Zadar, from Zadar by bus to Split and Dubrovnik. Visit nearby islands, if possible.
