A blend of the traditional and contemporary At the beginning of May Dubrovnik will see the opening of the luxury hotel Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik. This hotel was built on the renovated premises of the Grand Hotel Imperial – the first modern hotel in Dubrovnik – which was opened in 1897. Its tradition, comfort, richness of content and also a vision of modern Dubrovnik tourism, inspired Atlanska Plovidba to, in cooperation with the hotel company Hilton International, purchase and renovate this Dubrovnik hotel which was partly demolished and devastated during the war.

This five star hotel is a blend of fascinating 19th century architecture and modern design with the well known Hilton standards. The hotel has 147 superbly equipped rooms with a Mediterranean atmosphere, 7 spacious suites and one large presidential suite. Recognising the importance of today’s hurried life style, the manner of conducting business and thinking of business people, the Hilton has accommodated the modern business world by also offering Executive service. Guests of the Hilton’s executive floor will be able to enjoy beautiful Executive rooms with spacious balconies and will have access to the Executive Lounge in which will be offered breakfast, free “snacks�, newspapers, magazines and drinks. There will also be a luxurious restaurant as part of the hotel, extending to the sun-drenched terrace with
Mediterranean plans and a spectacular view of the historical city walls. For those who want to relax and pamper themselves, there is also a modern Fitness Club in the hotel comprising of a full equipped fitness hall, complimented by a large indoor pool under a glass dome and Turkish baths.
