Here are few rules you need to know if you decide to travel Croatia by car
-The legal blood alcohol limit is 0,00, and random breath tests are legal. The fines are from 500 to 1500 Croatian kunas. -Lights are compulsory 24/7, and the fine is 300 kunas. -The use of seat belts is compulsory, and the children must be at least 12 years old to sit in the front seat. Use of mobile phones is not allowed during the drive (except for hands-free) -Most fuel stations are open from 6am to 8pm, but some along major roads stay open 24 hours. Leaded super has an octane rating of 98; unleaded super, or bezolovni benzin, 91 or 95. -In case of any major damage or theft a European Acccident Report form (located in the glove compartment in a rental car) must be filled in and signed by all parties involved in the accident. -In case of any road emergency, call 987!
