Default Buje

The town and its surroundings are especially attractive because of numerous wineries and gastronomic specialities, which are connected with the so-called wine-roads, as well as because of the opportunities for hunting tourism and horseback riding. Especially interesting is the traditional feast Grape Holiday (in September).

BUJE, a town in the north-western part of Istria, the economic centre of the Bujstina region. Due to the vicinity to the coast, sub-Mediterranean vegetation prevails. Buje is the centre of this agricultural region, surrounded by fertile fields and vineyards. Also well developed is electronics industry.
